• User-Generated Content: Recipes, shopping lists, meal plans, and chat messages you create or share within the App are stored in our database (Google Firebase Firestore).
• Images: Photos you upload for recipes are hosted securely via Cloudinary.
• Usage Data: We may collect basic diagnostic data (such as crash logs) to help us fix bugs and improve performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the App.
• Allow you to sync your recipes and shopping lists across devices.
• Enable real-time sharing and collaboration within user groups.
• Generate AI-based recipe recommendations (using Google Gemini API).

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. These include:

• Google Play Services
• Google Analytics for Firebase / Firebase Crashlytics (for app stability)
• Cloudinary (for image hosting)
• Google Gemini API (for AI chat features. Note: Chat inputs are sent to this API to generate responses but are not used by us to train external models).

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with the App's services. You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time.

You can do this directly within the App by navigating to the Settings screen and clicking "Delete Account". This action will permanently remove your email, profile, and personal data from our active databases.

5. Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable.

7. Terms of Service, User Content, and Copyright (DMCA)

By using the App, you agree to the following terms regarding user-generated content:

• User Responsibility: The App allows users to create, import, and share recipes and images within shared groups. You warrant that any content or images you upload do not violate the intellectual property or copyright of any third party. We do not assume liability for user-uploaded content.
• Prohibited Content: Users are strictly prohibited from uploading copyrighted images or text without authorization.
• DMCA / Copyright Takedown: We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that any content or image displayed in the App infringes upon your copyright, please contact us immediately at bluebinder26@gmail.com with proof of ownership and a link to the infringing material. We will promptly review and remove the infringing content.

8. Account Deletion

If you wish to delete your account and associated data, you can do so in the app under Settings.
